Approximately 30 km north-west from Prague there is a king's town called Slany. Since half of 17^th century conclusively belongs the

VACLAV BENES TREBIZSKY HIGH SCHOOL.

to it's history. This universally aimed high school always was and still is the only one of it's kind in Slany. Except it's long history, nowadays it is situated in front of Smetana's square, surrounded by school garden and Bios sport hall. A building with three floors, built in thirtieth in functionalistic style, is named by one of the most important people ever studied here - Vaclav Benes Trebizsky.
